The Fairmont Hotel Pittsburgh was the backdrop for the Emmaus 25th Anniversary Celebration and Kentucky Derby Gala.
Over Two Hundred well-dressed guests turned out for the event. The women complete with fashionable derby hats!
The evening began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while viewing the silent auction items, which included, to name just a few, Private Photo Sessions, Autographed Memorabilia, and a stunning Mosaic Glass Piece by Stevo valued at $1200.
As the Kentucky Derby played on several large screens throughout the venue, hats and fashion seemed to be more important to most of the woman. Although there was a thrill as California Chrome crossed the finish line.
Sue McClellan glowed in a gold dress and matching wide brim hat, accessorized to perfection, best dressed of the evening!
Tiffany Merriman Preston, Director of Fundraising and Events, graciously greeted guest while assuring the event went off flawlessly.
Commander Scott Schuber, was recognized for Outstanding Service, receiving the Ken Wagner Award.
The Emmaus cause was dear to the heart of the evening’s Master of Ceremonies, Michelle Wright, inspired by her older brother who is mentally challenged.
