Emma Watson took to Twitter to clear up rumors that she would star in the movie version of the best-selling erotic book, “Fifty Shades of Grey.” The actress tweeted on March 16:
“Who here actually things I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life. Good. Well that’s sorted then.”
Rumors that Emma Watson had already signed on for the role of Anastasia Steele in the “highly anticipated” movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey” went viral on Friday, prompting Saturday’s tweet from Watson.
The source of the rumor was a hacker team who hacked into the internal server of German studio Constantin Film, stealing document that allegedly showed that Watson was attached to the film. According to sources, “Fifty Shades of Grey” has not yet been cast.
Now that Emma Watson, who starred as Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” movies, is not going to be cast as Anastasia Steele, what young Hollywood starlet will take on the role in what is sure to be a very erotic film adaption of “Fifty Shades of Grey”?
