Emma Watson defended fellow actress Kristen Stewart saying that she is "a human," and her infamous cheating affair was just a mistake, reports revealed on Friday, Feb. 8.
Speaking with Vanity Fair Italia, via Zap2It, Emma stuck up for Kristen when asked about her thoughts on the "Twilight" star's steamy affair with Rupert Sanders over the summer.
"Those who criticized her are the same people that think that being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect," Emma said, "Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world."
Emma added that many fans of Kristen unfairly felt she deserved the bad publicity because she had the "perfect life" and messed it up by cheating. Plus, the "Harry Potter" star also said she felt the media was way too hard on Kristen about the whole situation.
"I thought the media picked on her in a very horrible way," Emma went on, "Kristen is human, just like everybody else, and she's so young. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone."
With such a strong devotion to the Robsten relationship, it's easy to understand why fans took it so hard and attacked Kristen so fiercely But, Emma also noted that Kristen and Robert also did their best to keep their private life "as far from the public eye as possible."
