Emma Watson slams 'Fifty Shades of Grey' casting rumors on Twitter

Emma Watson slams rumors of "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting on Twitter. She even went as far as to diss the popular book series on the social networking site. The Los Angeles Times reported on March 18 that the former "Harry Potter" star is shedding her good girl image for her new role in "Bling Ring." Still, she won't go as far as to star in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film.

Watson was one of the many actresses rumored to be cast as Anastasia Steele. Anastasia is a virginal female who flirts with Christian Grey, a young chief executive. Their relationship blooms into a bondage-filled, dominant-submissive sexual relationship.

An online collective group Anonymous reportedly hacked into Constantin Film's server earlier this month. Constantin Film is a German studio. The group found a document saying that Watson was to star in the film adaptation of the sexy book series. Watson has denied her interest in the books and the film in the past, as well.

Watson denied rumors that she's starring in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film. She asked her followers, "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life?" It sounds like she's neither interested in the film or the books.

Emma Watson was happy to squash the rumors. She added, "Good. Well, that's that sorted then," with a smiley face. There have been no other casting decisions made on the mysterious "Fifty Shades of Grey" film.

Do you think a "Fifty Shades of Grey" film will ever get made? Or, do you think it's too late to cash in?
