The latest Emma Watson rumors claimed that the former "Harry Potter" star was coming aboard the "50 Shades of Grey" movie. However, those rumors seemed to be shot down by the studio, and on March 17, E Online reported that Watson came out on Twitter and slammed the rumors.
The Emma Watson rumors started when the hacking group Anonymous claimed they hacked into Focus Features computers and learned that Watson was signed no to play Anastasia in the "50 Shades of Grey" movie. However, Focus Features denied the casting by saying they have not cast anyone yet, and the hacking site was lying.
While it seemed like it was Anonymous' word against Focus Features, the actress herself went to Twitter to personally shoot down the Emma Watson rumors. She released a statement that emphasized she was not interested, at least that is what the statement looks like.
Watson actually asked her fans if anyone really thought she would do a movie like "50 Shades of Grey." Then she said that sorted it all out. While she did not actually deny the Emma Watson rumors, her tone makes it seem like she wouldn't appear in a movie as risqué as "50 Shades of Grey."
