“Harry Porter”star Emma Watson stuns on the cover of the new issue of Vanity Fair Italy in a black jacket, black sequined top with a deep v-neck, and ruby red lips. Inside the magazine, the fashionista rocks a variety of looks and speaks out in defense of her friend Kristen Stewart, according to a Feb. 8 E! News report.
E! News reports that Watson does not think Kristen was treated well by the media after her cheating scandal broke. “Those who criticized her are the same people that think that being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect: Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world,” the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” star told Vanity Fair Italy.
“For these people, Kristen deserves all the bad things that have been thrown at her because she had an amazing life and she ruined it.” Adding that her friend is only human, the 22-year-old actress said that she “thought that the media picked on [Kristen] in a very horrible way.”
Watson continued on, explaining that “everyone makes mistakes, everyone. It's not fair to consider them matters of public interest. On one hand, I can understand why it happened: people felt really involved in her relationship with Robert Pattinson. But it's also true that they both have done everything in their power to keep their relationship as far from the public eye as possible.”
