On Feb. 9, a new report says Emma Watson stands by Kristen Stewart regarding the cheating scandal that that rocked the worlds of KStew and RPattz when Stewart's clandestine smooch session with Rupert Sanders went viral and fans went bananas. According to OMG! Yahoo, Watson talked about the situation, saying "Everybody makes mistakes."
In an interview with Vanity Fair Italy, "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" star even went so far as to say she can relate to why Kristen would take up with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director.
The British actress, who starred in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"with RPattz, says, "...I can understand why it happened. People felt really involved in [Kristen's] relationship with Robert Pattinson."
By way of background, Emma Watson enjoyed some quality time with Kristen Stewart when the two celebrities took part in a a girls' night out with Jennifer Lawrence last November.
Apparently, KStew had a great time because she talked about the evening with MTV, saying, "I think people assume that actresses don't want to [hang out together]." However, the "Twilight" star says that doing so was "kind of just awesome.'"
And so, with Emma Watson's friendship with Kristen Stewart sealed, the former Hermione Granger has the former Bella Swan's back.
Meanwhile, new rumors have Robert Pattinson in the headlines that say he hasn't been as chaste as fans first thought. Allegedly, when he and Kristen were on a break after the Rupert Sanders scandal broke, RPattz hooked up with a waitress that he met in a Tinseltown club.
However, if that happened, that happened last summer. But now Pattinson is far away from Los Angeles, filming his new movie in Australia while Emma Watson is filling in to make Kristen Stewart feel somewhat secure as she defends her friend who she apparently feels deserves a break from all this mess.
