On Saturday morning 25-year-old Stone co-hosted the gathering with Andy Cohen. The fight against cancer has special personal importance for Stone because her mother Krista Stone was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Her mother's treatment was difficult and included a year and a half of chemotherapy. Stone said the treatment was terrifying.

Stone dressed casually in jeans and the charity's official T-shirt for the event. The "Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women" has raised more than $70 million since it first began in 1994. The money is used for research, treatment and financial support for women who are confronted with cancer.

Actress and philanthropist Stone woke up early on Saturday to take part in the 2014 "Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Revlon Run/Walk For Women" in New York City reports ABC. Television executive Andy Cohen joined up with her to help support women’s cancer research, counseling and outreach programs. Stone has often talked about her mother’s battle with breast cancer and the impact which this had on her family. She has said her mother was her hero. Stone says her mother is one strong lady.
