Sunday night at the Screen Actor Guild Awards show in Los Angeles, Emma Stone wowed the crowd with her beauty. Wearing an Alexander McQueen gown the dress took us back to the 50’s. A princess gown to be sure, the dress was tea length and ready to party. Emma is setting the bar high for the Oscar Red Carpet in February.
Arizona's own Emma Stone was born and raised in Scottsdale, until at the age of eleven she moved to California to become a star. Her latest role in the movie The Help, won the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, at the 2012 SAG Awards. Emma was also among the best dressed of the night, according to many media reports. We may be biased, but we thought it was charming that Emma's mother, Krista Stone attended also. Krista was gorgeous in her black gown, dangle earrings and smile.
Emma did not earn the best dressed lists without a reason. The look was complete and complimented her well. The bodice of Emma’s dress matched the heels and the Alexander McQueen clutch. The high heels with peek-a-boo toe were also designed by Alexander McQueen, matching the dress perfectly. The Alexander McQueen clutch with black lace and gold trimming broke the monotone and gave Emma a sophisticated, elegant look.
Emma’s hair was in an updo with a stylish side bang, allowing an undistracted view of the Paloma’s Venezia earrings from Tiffany & Co. The magnificent golden spiral earrings framed her face to perfection adding a sparkle to Emma’s green eyes. Emma also wore four Tiffany rings designed by Jean Schlumberger. Emma did wear classic red carpet makeup with subtle, soft eyes and deeper pink color focused on the lips. The total look earned Emma notice by LA Times, MTV, Cosmopolitan,and Mirror. Emma not only is an award winning actress but a successful fashion diva.
The last few award show red carpet events have seen Emma very well dressed, but tending to wear similar colors to each event. Fans were ready for a knock it out of the ball park look, since she had been wearing green as her fashion favorite. Sunday, we knew Emma was the one to watch, and today all fans are eagerly awaiting her arrival on the red carpet of the Oscars on February 26, 2011 .
