Rapper Eminem’s former Detroit home is up on the auction block. If you have a spare $1, the home could be yours, according to the Yahoo! Homes on September 24. The house is located at 19946 Dresden in northeastern Detroit. That’s just a couple a blocks from the highly publicized 8 mile road discussed in many of Eminem’s songs.
The home has appeared on Eminem’s third album, “The Marshal Mathers LP.” On September 20 Eminem revealed in a tweet that his latest album, “The Marshal Mathers LP 2” due to be released on November 5, will also have a photograph of the same home.
The house has been up for sale for quite some time as stated by the Detroit Free Press. The bank is ready to unload some of their excess housing. The homes are “essentially free to any folks who can make a good case for how they'd take care of it.” The public Michigan Land Bank has no minimum bid so the home could be yours for $1.
