On May 11, American rapper Eminem released an official music video for his single "Headlights" on his VEVO YouTube channel. The video was directed by Spike Lee, and despite Nate Ruess of the band fun. being featured on the song, he is not seen in the video. You can watch Eminem's official "Headlights" music video here.

The video is shown through Eminem's mother's point of view, and the audience never clearly sees her face. She watches clips of how the rapper made fun of her, she looks through a photo album featuring pictures of a young Eminem, and she even tries to visit him, but the guards at the gate will not let her through.

At the end of the video she tries to visit him again, and this time he happens to be leaving his gated community. He gets out of the car, and gives her a long hug. Once the exchange is over they go their separate ways. After that encounter he writes her a letter, which she tearfully reads.

The song "Headlights" is the fifth single from his most recent studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The album was released on Nov. 5, 2013 and reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
