Eminem's newest single release, "I Am Not Afraid" is getting rave reviews from critics. The musician, coming out of personal recovery, will release his latest album "Recovery" for all to review on June 22.
"I'm not afraid, to take a stand," sings Eminem through the music, reminiscent of old school Eminem.
The 37-year-old rapper has admitted in past interviews he's had an on-again-off-again relationship with drugs. Beginning in 2002, Eminem became sober but relapsed in 2005 with an addiction to sleeping pills - Causing the Slim Shady star to cancel the last part of his tour.
"I just wasn't taking care of myself," Eminem said in a radio interview last year. "At times I wanted to just give it up." Eminem adds of his recovery, "Rap was my drug, then I had to resort to other things to make me feel that. Now rap's getting me high again."
Eminem's Recovery will hit stores June 22.
