Over the weekend, Eminem made an appearance on ESPN's “Saturday Night Football” since his new single “Berzerk” has been picked to be the show's official song. During the broadcast he revealed a sneak peak at the upcoming video for the new single that showed a platinum blonde Slim Shady rapping next to producer Rick Ruben and even has an appearance from Kendrick Lamar. Afterwords, a doe eyed Eminem did an odd interview with Brent Musberger and Kirk Herbstreit where he states “Live tv freaks me out.” When was asked what he was most excited about the new album he replied “Nothing. I'll probably be more excited to be done with it...It's a revisit to the first 'Marshall Mathers LP'.” The behavior is certainly odd, but anyone who knows the rapper will see that he has more than likely adapted the Slim Shady persona as a way to grab people's attention.
About a month ago, it was revealed that a new song from the rapper entitled “Survival” would be used in the trailer for the latest Call of Duty installment. Eminem's eighth studio album “Marhsall Mathers LP 2” is set for a November 5th release. You can listen to the album's first single “Berzerk” on his official website.
