Elton John and Eminem are back at the Grammy Awards! No, they won't be dueting as they did in 2001, but they have been added to the list of performers for the 2010 Grammy Awards.
The full list of artists just added to the performance roster includes Eminem with Drake, Lil Wayne and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker - they'll likely be performing "Forever"; Elton John, who's been rumored to be part of a duet with Lady Gaga; Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, who will sing a portion of "Who Says You Can't Go Home" with Bon Jovi before that band segues into the fan-voted request; Jamie Foxx and T-Pain with Slash and Doug E. Fresh; legendary R&B singer Roberta Flack, who will duet with Maxwell; and Jeff Beck and Imelda May, who will perform a tribute to Les Paul.
The list of performers for the 2010 Grammy Awards now includes all these names as well as previously announced performers Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige with Andrea Bocelli, the Black Eyed Peas, the Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Lady Antebellum, Pink, the Zac Brown Band, and a 3D Michael Jackson tribute with Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson, Usher, and Jennifer Hudson.
Record and Song of the Year nominees Kings of Leon are conspicuously absent from the list of performers.
One other important Grammy note: There have been conflicting reports regarding whether Michael Jackson's children will give a speech to accept his Special Merit Award, but it now appears they will make an appearance at the ceremony.
The 2010 Grammy Awards air on CBS on January 31.
