On Thursday, The CW released a new video preview for “Emily Owens, M.D.” and it looks like Emily (Mamie Gummer) and the other doctors at Denver Memorial are going to have their hands full with their newest patients.
In the video, one patient is much more interested in her phone conversation than in being treated for the heart attack she just had. Dr. Bandari (Necar Zadegan) wants to get her to slow down and a conversation with the patient’s husband makes her realize that she needs to focus on her marriage.
Meanwhile, Emily and Will (Justin Hartley) are faced with a patient who is dressed in costume. Will believes that he is suffering from some kind of psychotic break and judging by the video, the patient is not a fan of his theory.
But patient care is not the only focus of the hour. The episode also features Emily agreeing to go on a blind date with Cassandra’s (Aja Naomi King) friend. Will it be a success?
