Last week on “Emily Owens, M.D.,” Micah (Michael Rady) surprised Emily (Mamie Gummer) with a kiss. Will (Justin Hartley) interrupted the moment before Emily had a chance to fully process it, but is the intern finally ready to put her long term crush behind her?
On Thursday, The CW released a preview for the series finale, “Emily and the Leap.” In the video, the show’s executive producer Jennie Urman points out another obstacle Emily is facing as she debates whether or not a relationship with Micah is something that she wants.
Even though she does have feelings for him, Emily is concerned because Micah is her boss and she doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize her career. But Micah seems pretty determined to convince her.
Meanwhile, Will is upset that Cassandra (Aja Naomi King) seems perfectly fine with the fact that their relationship is over. Will is dealt another blow when he finds out about Emily and Micah and realizes that Emily was serious when she told him that she was ready to move on from her crush. Will this be the push he needs to see that maybe he has feelings for Emily too?
