'Emily Owens, M.D.' preview: First look at 'Emily and the Teapot'

Emily (Mamie Gummer) was on top of the world this week on “Emily Owens, M.D.” when the intern realized that Will (Justin Hartley) has feelings for her after all. But what’s going to happen when the two are pitted against each other?

On Wednesday, The CW released the first preview for the upcoming episode, “Emily and the Teapot.” In the video, Dr. Bandari (Necar Zadegan) tells Emily, Will and Cassandra (Aja Naomi King) that the three of them are the finalists to be her research assistant since they received the three highest scores on the test.

As part of the decision process, Dr. Bandari asks each of them to list the others’ faults. Emily is forced to stand there as Will points out that she gets too personally involved and Cassandra is quick to agree. She also adds that Emily is awkward. Check out the video to see Emily’s response.

Emily Owens, M.D.” airs Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 8 p.m. CST on The CW.
