On Thursday, The CW released a new “Emily Owens, M.D.” video preview. It features the show’s creator and executive producer Jennie Urman giving fans the scoop on the next episode, “Emily and the Social Experiment.”
The video begins with Emily (Mamie Gummer) telling Tyra (Kelly McCreary) that she believes that Will (Justin Hartley) was jealous of her recent date and she tells her friend her theory that if he was jealous, he must have feelings for her. Urman explains that Emily will set out to prove it scientifically.
A new character is also introduced in the video. A.J. (guest star J.R. Ramirez) returns to the hospital after a long absence and he wants to get his job back. Urman hints that he has a history with Dr. Bandari (Necar Zadegan) and that he left the hospital under fraught circumstances. He was also a good friend of Micah’s (Michael Rady).
