Emily Maynard snubbed by Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici on 'The Bachelor'

Sean Lowe (star of "The Bachelor") and new fiancee Catherine Giudici have made their first big decision as a celebrity couple. According to a new interview quote posted by US Weekly Magazine on Mar. 13, 2013, the pair has decided not to invite former "The Bachelorette" personality Emily Maynard to attend their televised wedding ceremony.

Maynard attended the nuptials of Ashley Hebert and J. P. Rosenbaum along with several past reality television show competitors. But when it came time for Lowe and Giudici to tell TV host Chris Harrison whether or not she would be on the wedding guest list, Lowe said, "Probably not..." despite Hollywood Life proclaiming she was happy to hear he's found love with a new lady.

US Weekly reports the handsome blonde reality TV star was not too keen on the idea of inviting his past love to see him wed his new dark-haired beauty. Regarding the idea that Maynard may want to attend the wedding in person rather than watching it on TV along with the rest of the American viewers, he said:

You know, I think the world of Emily, and I want nothing but good things for her. But I don't know if it would be the most appropriate thing to have her at the wedding.

Maynard is rumored to have an attachment to the fame being a reality television star brings. As such, the very public snub is not likely to make her or her press camp happy.

According to the Huffington Post, she and daughter Ricki just launched a new lifestyle site -- a business venture that could undoubtedly benefit from the free publicity attending the wedding would bring.
