Emily Maynard won the hearts of viewers on Brad Womack’s season of ‘The Bachelor.’ Though she was his final lady standing, the reality TV pair didn’t make it to the altar. After her own quest to find love in 'The Bachelorette, she became engaged to Jef Holm. However, it was soon apparent that he wasn’t the man for her either. According to a Huffington Post article dated Friday, August 23, Maynard is currently fine with living the single life.
The blonde beauty is used to independence, and seemingly always counts her daughter as her highest priority.
As a single, busy mother of 8-year-old Ricki and a jewelry line, Maynard simply isn’t in a hurry to find herself a man.
“Ricki goes to bed at 8 or 8:30. At the end of a long day to get dressed, go out and make small talk is an effort. Right now, I am under no pressure to find a guy. I'm figuring it out on my own. But I will say this: When I do find him, this man will be the best, because he'll be someone who adds something pretty spectacular to our lives,” said Maynard.
The former Bachelorette star says, “I’m figuring it out on my own.”
Maynard’s journey has been far from easy. In 2004, she lost her first love, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick in a plane crash. Soon after his death, she learned she was pregnant with their daughter.
Though there are always a great deal of rumors swirling about Maynard’s personal life, the Bachelorette nation has heard from the lady herself: She hasn’t found “him” just yet.
