Emily Maynard 'crushed' she didn't make DWTS Season 16 cast

Emily Maynard is said to be crushed she didn't get picked to join the "Dancing With the Stars Season 16" cast. Sources tell Us Weekly the former Bachelorette star "desperately wanted" to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy and is angry she got overlooked.

'The Bachelorette' Season 9 to premiere May 20 with a big change

The 27-year-old single mom would have been the third star from ABC's BAchelor and Bachelorette franchise to compete. Melissa Rycroft competed twice on DWTS (including winning the All-Star season). Jake Pavelka was also tapped for the season that started shortly after his reign as "The Bachelor."

So far 11 celebrities have been confirmed for the cast of the upcoming season which premieres March 18. According to reports one final celebrity will be announced closer to the DWTS premiere. Current "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe has widely been rumored to join the cast and according to Reality Steve, Lowe is definitely the mystery contestant.
