The CW's Arrow didn't just created Starling City billionaire Oliver Queen to become the titular alter-ego.

The series also created Sara Lance and Helena Bertinelli to become the Canary and the Huntress, two members of the Birds of Prey. What we may or may not know, though, is that Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) could become the third member of the trio with the codename 'Oracle', which is what the fourth episode of the upcoming season will be titled.

But that's not all, as TVGuide.com reported that Charlotte Ross will be playing Felicity's mother in the episode that will finally focus on Oliver's Girl Wednesday after being a fan favorite for two seasons.

Ross is known to daytime and primetime fans for her roles as bad girl Eve Donovan on Days of Our Lives (the role is now being played by One Life to Live vixen Kassie DePaiva) and as Detective Connie McDowell on NYPD Blue.

In the comics, 'Oracle' is the second alter-ego of Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James 'Jim' Gordon, the ally and friend of brooding Caped Crusader/Dark Knight Detective Batman, her inspiration. Barbara donned her own cape and cowl to become Batgirl, fighting alongside 'Dynamic Duo' Batman & Robin, of which Barbara had a on/off romance with the latter.

After being paralyzed by the Joker, Barbara continued her fight against evil and injustice as cyber-expert and mentor known as the 'Oracle', one of the founding leading members of the female-oriented superhero group Birds of Prey. There was a short-lived television series that aired on the WB from 2002 to 2003 that only lasted thirteen episodes; it is available on DVD.

Arrow begins the aim for season three Wednesday, October 8 on the CW; the repeat 'Birds of Prey' will air Monday, August 11 at 9pm.
