Emilie de Ravin is best known as the dark haired beauty to Rumpelstiltskin's beast. On April 19 Carter Matt shares that instead of being Belle, however, Emilie will be playing her alter ego Lacey in the next new episode airing this Sunday.
As fans may remember, in season one of "Once Upon a Time," Belle was freshly released from the mental hospital that Regina had her locked in. Because she didn't have an active presence in Storybrooke for 28 years, there was no reason to give her a "Storybrooke memory" because she wasn't really a character. Then, once the spell was broken, Bell magically had her memory back.
Now, thanks to Regina's hospital visit to Belle, she gives her the memory that she would have gotten if she had been a resident of Storybrooke, She gives her Lacey. Lacey is a free spirited woman with a little attitude. She has absolutely no plans of bending to Rumpelstiltskin's or anybody else's will.
Emilie de Ravin also promises that fans will get to see a little of the "Rumbelle" action that they may have been missing as of late on "Once Upon a Time." It has been several weeks since fans have gotten a fresh dose of their favorite fairytale drama, "Once Upon a Time," luckily, it will return this Sunday, April 21.
