Emerson Hart at Eddie’s Attic

Emerson Hart rose to fame with the band Tonic. They had a pretty successful run in the 90’s and are known for their live shows and catchy tunes. During a lengthy hiatus, Hart stepped away from the Tonic shadow to release his first solo record, Cigarettes and Gasoline which showcased his writing skills. With one solo record in his rearview mirror and the reassembling of Tonic he has once again delved into the world of solo records with his latest creation Beauty in Disrepair. An open window into his life, the 12 tracks on Disrepair are about learning, moving forward and enjoying life.

Hart is out on the road in support of the latest solo effort and this Wednesday, April 30th he makes a stop in Atlanta at Eddie’s Attic and the intimate room is the perfect spot for him to tell his stories. While the set should focus on the new material expect to hear songs from his first record as well as a few from Tonic.

This should be a nice evening of music. Hart has a real knack for writing songs and what better way to listen to them then live and in person. So get a baby sitter, call in sick for your shift, grab a date or just treat yourself because you are not going to want to miss this one.

WHO: Emerson Hart
