A young. Alaskan husky. with a life-threatening injury, was brought to the Los Angeles, Calif., Animal Services facility on Feb. 16.
The dog has a compound fracture to her front leg which requires immediate surgery.
A shelter volunteer shared the following information:
She needs immediate surgery to save her life. Is there anyone who will take her on as a "good Samaritan?"
If so, please contact the South L.A. immediately!!
(213) 485-0214 or -0227. If you can't get through, call or e-mail me and I will pass word along. Again, this girl needs out IMMEDIATELY if she is to survive.
There is one caveat - the dog is still technically on a stray hold at the facility, and if the owner comes forward before that stray hold is up, they technically are able to take custody of her.
If you are interested in helping this young dog, estimated at just 12 months of age, please contact Andrea at: ivegonetothedogs@gmail.com, or (323) 363-4909.
