Emblem 3 signs with Syco Music and Columbia Records

It's been rumored for months that Simon Cowell was aiming to sign Emblem 3 to his record label and now it's official. The Hollywood Reporter reports today (January 9) that Drew Chadwick, Wesley Stromberg, and Keaton Stromberg have signed with Syco Music via Columbia Records and have started work on their debut album, which due out later this year and will be executive produced by Savan Kotecha (Maroon 5, Usher, One Direction).

"I was so impressed by the talent and energy of the Emblem3 boys that I had to work with them," Kotecha said about the boys. "I'm looking forward to helping them fulfill their creative vision and working with the amazing Syco and Columbia team who, in my opinion, are the best in the business."

"With our new teammates at Columbia and Syco and along with Savan, I hope we can not only produce some empowering tunes, but also impact other people in a positive way and maybe help brighten things up a bit," Wesley said. "Music is all we've ever wanted to do -- and this is what we love to do."

"Wesley, Drew and Keaton are complete stars," Simon Cowell said about the signing. "They have a great attitude, are fun and genuinely love music. They deserve this and I'm really pleased we are continuing working together."

The boys are obviously very thrilled about the news, they tweeted this morning: "It's official. We are now signed to Syco/Columbia!!! This is so amazing. @SYCO_NEWS @ColumbiaRecords"
