Emails show obstructionist House Oversight Democrat asked IRS for info on conser

Most of us remember the heated exchange between Issa and ‘Ole Bloody Hands’ Cummings at the end of the supposed testimony of Lois Lerner exploded. More than usual because he has always been trouble for the committee and even more so as ranking member.

After watching that video, AND in hindsight, one could easily speculate that at the time Issa was possibly in possession of information that implicated Cummings and was hoping the Lerner testimony would/could implicate Cummings. Had Lerner not taken the 5th, details of some of the IRS scandal would have come out and possibly implicated Cummings.

Now the plot thickens because what is now surfacing are emails directly tying Cummings to the IRS abuses and Issa has them.

Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Darrell Issa, along with five Subcommittee Chairmen are demanding Cummings provide an explanation for the staff inquiries to the IRS about True the Vote and for his denial that his staff ever contacted the IRS about the group.

Ole Bloody Hands has been pretty good at dodging bullets (no pun intended.....not is intended) in the past. Watching him will now be even more entertaining.

One might wonder where the term “Ole Bloody Hands” came from. Well, it was one of our own who coined the term, here, dated Apr 11, 2011.
