Ellis Middle School art show at the Austin Area Art Center

If you were in middle school and got your art work juried into an art show, and that you liked art, how would you feel? A group of Ellis Middle School students of Austin, Minnesota, are thrilled that they have a show at the Austin Area Art Center from February 1-26, 2012! Other students have a their work headed to the display cases at Ellis for all of 3rd quarter. Both groups feel ecstatic to have their artwork on display.

The Ellis Middle School Art Student Show is going to be distinctive. From color wheels to ceramic bowls to metaphorical branching, many different themes will be presented. For instance, Page Raymond has all three vivid color pieces in this show  When asked what her favorite piece to do was, she could not make up her mind. She “just likes them all!”

Mariya, another student who has her color wheel coming to the show said, “I really like how my name came out.” That it sure did. Lidia, who also got her color wheel in the show said, “I just love painting. It was fun to mix the colors thereby making my own colors.”

He is on his way to his dream and with a business minded family members who can help out with business principles he will not end up being a starving artist.
