Ellie Kemper and the rest of The Office cast are looking at the end of the popular American television series. Before the show actually ends on air, the cast puts time into their roles on set with the filming done weeks prior to the last show. According to Ellie Kemper, a regular cast member of the show, it appears that the end of the filming is near. Dishing about her job during the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, apparently the tears are starting to flow as there are only two shows left.
“We have two more episodes left to shoot. 12 more days of shooting and it's done,” said Ellie Kemper on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. The entertainer admitted it has been sad around the film set. “It's been nine years, it's historical. It’s really...very special.”
While the fans won’t say goodbye to the series until later, the actors and actresses of the show are working together for the final days before the end is determined. Of course, just like 30 Rock, expect there to be plenty of press about the end of the series and what might be in store for the cast after The Office ends.
