Ellie Goulding US tour this spring

Ellie Goulding started the year as the first number-one album of 2014 in the UK. This is a nice treat since the album was released two calendar years earlier, in the autumn of 2012. This allows her to chart her two studio albums at the top of the chart.

The album Halcyon, which saw a re-released titled Halcyon Days, peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200. The album and its extensions have charted six worldwide singles thus far.

The current American single, "Burn", is still climbing up the Hot 100 since its release last summer. It has so far peaked at #13. The song climbed to number-one in the UK. Since, Ellie charted at number-three with "How Long Will I Love You" there, and will release a brand new single "Goodness Gracious" overseas.

Outside of promoting her own releases, Ellie is featured on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, and on Zedd's studio album, Clarity.

In March, she will bring her current tour to the US. The first dates, starting on March 12th, will be in New York City. The tour will visit Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Austin, Houston, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, amongst other cities. The US leg of the tour ends in Morrison, Colorado, on May 2nd.

The show will come to the Echostage, in Washington DC, on March 16th.
