Nothing to do this weekend? Stop by The Wine Bin in Ellicott City this Saturday October 1 to see the classic film, Casablanca (1942).
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman star as ex-lovers who, as fate would have it, meet up again in unoccupied Africa during World War II just as Nazi soldiers start arriving in the town of Casablanca. The movie starts at 8pm but you’ll want to get there early.
Although the parking lot closes at 7pm, the Bin will be offering a wine tasting as well as coolers of ice to supplement your own alcoholic beverage of choice. Popcorn and bottled water will also be sold to benefit Voices for Children of Howard County, a non-profit organization assisting abused and neglected children. You may bring a picnic, just remember to pack a chair.
“Here’s lookin’ at you, kid.”
