"At first, it was like, what does this mean? What does it mean to be in a video game? I didn't understand," said Page. But after seeing the script and meeting the other people involved, she quickly jumped on board.
In the interview, Page describes what it's like to work long days to produce a game of this magnitude. Many of the scenes are created using motion capture, with Page chewing on a piece of cardboard pizza or pretending to walk around an apartment that she cannot actually see.
"It's definitely a challenging job, when you're doing 30-40 pages of material a day and just sort of go-go-go all day," the actress said. "It really is, pretty much, nonstop."
The title was produced by Sony and released for the Playstation 3. The game sold over 300,000 copies during its first week of release.
Recently, it was revealed that some programmers involved with the game included a fully rendered nude body for Page's character, which can be seen in a special developer mode. While video game nudity is nothing new, the actress is reportedly angry and considering legal action.
