Ellen DeGeneres responds on show to JC Penney protestors

Ellen DeGeneres is finally speaking her mind about the JC Penney protestors. Gossip Cop is already talking about how Ellen will address this on her show today 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' This airs in the Oklahoma City area at 4:00 pm CST each day.

The group OneMillionMoms.com was hoping to convince JC Penney to fire Ellen as a spokesperson because she is openly gay and in a gay marriage. JC Penny proved that they are supporters of equal rights because they kept her on and did not allow the group to change their mind. Here is part of what Ellen will say on this episode:

“If you’re just watching maybe for the first time or you’re just getting to know me, I want to be clear. Here are the values I stand for: I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you’d want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values.”
