Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra jewelry event in Beverly Hills; 'God's workmanship' (Video)

Rodeo Drive, the shopping mecca of the rich and famous will be hosting a special event on Tuesday. Monday news reports are heralding the arrival of Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra jewelry collection, which will be seen during a very special preview at Bulgari. The expensive jewelry which was purchased last year at auction is not for sale, but is destined to inspire others. "Taylor Burton fiancée ring," is confirmed to be in the collection.

This is a wonderful opportunity for many to see the actual jewelry worn by the late Elizabeth Taylor during her filming of Cleopatra. The preview will take place 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Bulgari, 401 N. Rodeo Drive.

Taylor's first Bulgari piece will also be seen; a diamond brooch that sold for $6,578,500 in the 2011 auction. The famous brooch is described by Bulgari spokesman, Andy Gelb as a 23.44 octagonal step-cut diamond.

News of the special preview have inspired people to review the photos of the 2011 auction in which Taylor's jewelry fetched close to $116 million. The video report above is a preview of the 2011 jewelry auction. Taylor viewed her jewelry collection as "God's workmanship," of which she was "their guardian." Taylor commented in 2002: "I was their protector and nobody could have enjoyed them or had more fun with them."

It is awesome to see that the guardianship of this magnificent jewelery is in good hands and sharing the joy of the jewelry beauty with the world.
