Elizabeth Hurley helps promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Estee Lauder

Elizabeth Hurley visited Selfridges in London, England yesterday in order to help promote, and kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Estee Lauder. The month-long event, which occurs every October, helps to raise money and awareness about breast cancer in the fight for a cure. As part of Estee Lauder’s campaign in the fight against Breast Cancer, Elizabeth Hurley will help illuminate over 200 landmarks throughout the world along with other celebrities, VIP’s  and politicians.

Evelyn Lauder, Sr. Corporate VP: “I am extremely grateful for her continued presence and support. Our World Pink Ribbon Ambassador initiative, which launched in 2008, has grown to comprise over 40 celebrities and politicians designated to raise awareness in their countries and help elevate our Campaign to new heights.”

Estee Lauder has been working hard to raise money and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness month since 1992 when the beauty company co-created the Pink Ribbon with SELF magazine to promote breast health. The annual campaign has grown exponentially and as a result, Estee Lauder Companies have distributed close to 100 million Pink Ribbons and have raised millions of dollars.
