Eulogies for Elizabeth Edwards
One of three eulogies for Elizabeth Edwards was delivered by John and Elizabeth Edwards’ 28-year-old daughter, Cate. CNN has a video of Cate’s eulogy for her mother, which can be viewed by clicking this link.
Two other eulogies for Elizabeth Edwards were delivered by Elizabeth’s longtime friend and law school classmate, Glen Bergenfield, and by Cate Edwards’ godmother, Hargrave McElroy.

About the Funeral and Graveside Service
Elizabeth Edwards’ funeral was open to the public, and was attended by over 1600 people. Hundreds of other mourners and well-wishers gathered outside the Edenton Street United Methodist Church, in Raleigh, North Carolina where the funeral was held.
Noted guess included Sen. John Kerry; Gov. Bev Perdue; Sen. Kay Hagan; Reps. David Price, Brad Miller, Larry Kissell, Bob Etheridge and G.K. Butterfield; Iowa First Lady Mary Culver; former White House Chief of Staff John Pondersa and Vicki Kennedy, the wife of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.
Elizabeth Edwards was laid to rest in Raleigh's Historic Oakwood Cemetery, next to her son Wade, who was killed in a car accident 14 years ago.
The gravesite service was private. Only family and invited guests were permitted to attend.
