Elisabeth Hasselbeck was all a-flutter on Monday morning's episode of The View after Adam Lambert's highly sexualized performance at the American Music Awards hit the 'Hot Topics' coffee table. Elisabeth Hasselbeck had no love for Adam Lambert after his "sexually aggressive" performance of his new single 'For Your Entertainment' at Sunday night's AMAs.
"There was an aggression--a sexual agression that came across in the performance," said Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Monday morning's The View, her eyebrows raised so high up on her head they risked disappearing into her neatly coiffed hairline.
It wasn't just the "sexual aggression" in Adam Lambert's performance that offended Elisabeth Hasselbeck--it was the lack of artistic integrity.
"Does anyone know what song he sang? And does anyone remember what he sounded like? Because let me tell you this, this is a mistake Adam Lambert will make time and time again. We will not remember him as a performer or someone with a voice if he continues to do this. He'll smarten up and sing."
Elisabeth Hasselbeck seemed unaffected by talk from the other ladies at The View coffee table that Adam Lambert is being subjected to a double standard. Madonna's infamous kisses with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at 2003's AMAs ignited more excitement than they did controversy, but as Joy Behar eloquently stated: "Everyone loves a lesbian kiss".

Elisabeth needs to stfu. Yes, I do know what song Adam sang and the lyrics! I'm tired of 'know it all' shrill sounding conservative Christians shoving their lifestyle in my face! pfft.
If I cared at all what Hasselbeck thinks, I'd still watch The View. The show became irrelevant once Rosie O'Donnell left and Hasselbeck never ceases to offend. Maybe if she joins Fox News, where her type of drivel is the norm, I can go back to enjoying what the other ladies of The View have to say. Until then, the only view I want to see is Adam doing things his way, not the Christian right's way.
I have always hated Elisabeth, but now I DESPISE her! Who is she to put her conservative, scared beliefs on everyone else? Anyone who loves Adam knows exactly what song Adam sang, and we can probably recite all the words too! At first, I too, was a little put off by his performance, but the more I watch it, the more I'm like, "You go boy!" It's too bad there aren't more risk-takers out there like him making the world a little bit easier for different people to live in. Elisabeth is the main reason I stopped watching The View. It's amazing that she even got pregnant 3 times - what a prude!
Cannot beleive that there are still such narrow minded people still alive in this world. Have they actually listened to the workds of the song? The answer is no, or eitherwise they will not be making such comments. All Adam did was to interpret the words of the song, get over it people. I loved Adam right from the start, I loved him because he brings the song to live with each performance, I love him even more after that performance. Have these people forgotten other rock artist similar performances, or are they been sexists by accepting such performances from female artists. Adam is a great guy, a very talented artist, we love him, so leave him alone.
