Elisabeth Hasselbeck took some time on Monday morning's "Hot Topics" segment of The View to brag about how she talked to a real Arab on a recent plane trip, and educate The View audience on the fact that not all people of Middle Eastern descent are terrorists.
The man, "who seemed to be of Middle Eastern descent" said Elisabeth Hasselbeck, was apparently forced to sit next to the conservative The View co-host because flight attendants didn't want him sitting next to another man of Arab descent on the plane, his son.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck literally asked him: "Are you being racially profiled because they think you're a terrorist?" and proceeded to explain that she befriended the scary Arab by using her profound cultural objectivity and insight.
Fearless defender of Arab American rights Elisabeth Hasselbeck even set a racist flight attendant straight when the stewardess made a snarky comment about Hasselbeck's Saudi Arabian seatmate.
"You know what? He's actually a really nice man," Elisabeth Hasselbeck told the flight attendant.
No word on how often Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be dragging out her non-terrorist Arab flight buddy reference out of the wordwork as an example or where Elisabeth Hasselbeck now ranks on the TSA's Arab-sympathizer watchlist.
