Today (July 9) TMZ is reporting that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is "disgusted" that "The View" is bringing Rosie O'Donnell back, going so far as to even indicating that Rosie has committed treason against America and our troops. It is being widely reported all over the news media that the always relevant and outspoken Rosie O'Donnell is officially returning to ABC's "The View" as soon as possible. She will be, in fact, replacing Barbara Walter's role as head honcho according to FOX News, who are also claiming that Rosie will even be choosing the new co-hosts.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on a New York "stay-cation" and called into "Fox & Friends" this morning to rant and whine and complain about her notorious opponent Rosie O'Donnell returning to "The View."
"This is a woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there," exclaims Hasselbeck about Rosie O'Donnell live on "Fox & Friends."
The truth is that Rosie speaks her mind and is always coming from a place of her own truth. That is very respectable. She may not always please everyone, but everybody knows that Rosie means business and she is a ratings and publicity bananza for ABC. Hasselbeck went on to kiss the royal butt of FOX NEWS NETWORK telling them how happy she is to be on "Fox & Friends" now. That is where she belongs, quite frankly - on a republican conservative network.
Many folks are looking forward to the return of Rosie O'Donnell to "The View." Postings all over the Internet indicate that fans felt the show was boring and lacking real sparked conversation without Rosie on the show.
To create a new cast and replace Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd, ABC and O'Donnell should now consider bringing on fan favorites singer Frenchie Davis and love and sex guru Dr. Ava Cadell to spice things up with juicy talk. And, to make the conversations turn to arguments, it is now time for ABC to replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck by hiring Sarah Palin. There is serious talk on many sites like TV.com that ABC is considering the one-time United States republican vice-presidential candidate to join "The View." All of these ladies together would liven things up again on the show. They will reignite dialogue about things that people want to discuss, debate and hear about. Real passionate people talking about real life experiences.
Good luck Rosie!
