After spending 10 years on 'The View,' conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck was used to almost always disagreeing with her cohosts. Now, the 36-year-old mother of three and wife of football star Tim Hasselbeck has landed a job that seems to be a much better fit for her mindset. She is understandably ecstatic about being a part of the Conservative 'Fox & Friends,' where she will be surrounded with cohosts that have like-minded views. In a promo that People released on Friday, September 13, the TV host is featured cutting up with her co-workers Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.
"We can't wait to have nothing but a good time," she gushes.
She seems to fit right in with her new buddies saying that they're like her brothers, and that they could not be more friendly, welcoming, and informative. She thinks Brian even already challenged her to some football in high heels.
When it comes to landing a job like Fox, she explains her excitement by saying: "It's the equivalent of growing up as a Boston Red Sox Fan or a Yankees fan and getting asked to play for the team."
"This is an honor and a privilege and I'm beyond thrilled to be on the team," she added.
Hasselbeck who departed from 'The View' in July is replacing Gretchen Carlson on the daytime talk show. Rumors began swirling that she was leaving the liberally slanted show long before the actual announcement was made. As we soon learned, Hasselbeck really was moving on....and now, here she is in the job of her dreams.
Do you ever tune into 'Fox & Friends?' What do you think about Hasselbeck joining the team?
