If you were expecting Elin Nordegren to make an appearance alongside Tiger Woods at the Masters, think again. A source close to the golfer's wife tells People Magazine that she has no intention of supporting Tiger in such a public capacity:
"Elin wants to stay away from Augusta and not get involved in the frenzy of the Masters. By not going, she sends a signal that she is staying with Tiger only because of the children. They come first."
The source went on to claim that the only reason Elin is still around is for the sake of the children -- she went through a divorce as a child and is reportedly afraid of forcing her kids to go through the same thing. Unfortunately, in doing so she is also forcing herself to suffer in the process.
The Masters will begin airing on April 7, and will continue on through the 11th on CBS and ESPN. Elin had frequently been a presence at Tiger's side in the past, but now she is reportedly just a few steps away from divorce.
The golfer gave his first public interviews on Sunday since the infamous "car crash" the day after Thanksgiving, speaking both to the Golf Channel and ESPN. He apologized for his actions again, and said that he was keeping the majority of the details private.

She should not only stay away from the cameras..but stay away from Tiger!! His interview just showed he is still an arrogant jerk!! He may ACT like he is tying to mend his fences...but it is very apparent Himself and golf are the two most important things in his life. Elin has suffered enough....she needs to tell Tiger...."take a hike"...and not give in to his $$$$$ and power....you can't buy happiness, forgiveness and love....like Tiger is trying to do. Don't let Tiger manipulate you Elin!
Elin should stay away from the masters and any other functions he attends until she decides what she is going to do. He has alot to proove and alot to loose. She needs to look out for herself and her kids first.
I think that Elin Nordegren has been trying very hard but she cannot get over Tigers' savage betrayal and who can blame her? Elin’s life has been and continues to be a living hell but she keeps going on for her children. Elin has conducted herself with dignity and courage during this horrid ordeal. How can Elin heal and trust again when all the sordid details of Tiger’s infidelities are being disclosed by the media almost daily? How much more pain, suffering and humiliation can this graceful and decent woman endure? I pray that whatever Elin decides to do work the best for her and her two precious children. My heart goes to them!
I was divorced and married again for 45 years.
My first wife decided after 6 months that she had made a mistake.
It was to late by far. Tiger will do his best to win her back but
everybody needs hope. Once Tiger is divorced they will line up around the block to audition. My point? Elin has to give him hope.
Elin should face the truth bravely, bite the bullet and leave Mr Tiger. He is not sincere in his resolution to make amends. For such a deep betrayal, he should be knocking on Elin's doors and shower her with all the attention that she deserved from him. The truth is this guy has lost the love for her or perhaps never even loved her before.

ELIN I will Help You When no other wants to. When Someone has so much internal pain its like going into Shock. ELIN is STILL in Shock. Elin needs to be reached out to everytime she heres something about them she goes into shock. Understandably so. And if by chance your silence is because you had done something to Tiger the night of the crash,and that is Tigers Trump Card get it out their. Because if l had done what Tiger had done to you, l would expect my wife to take a bat to me and beat some respect into me and when she was done l would say you aint done yet now do it again on my behalf to show that you were justified in doing what you did. Discipline hurts but its healing.
