In terms of profitability, it even beat out the 2008 issue of People with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, with Vivienne and Knoxx, their newborn twins.

People usually sells an average of 1.4 million magazines.
While the 2 million copies of Elin’s interview issue, fall short of the 2.5 million copies the issue of Angelina and the twins sold, Elin’s issue was more profitable for People magazine.
But there’s an interesting reason why.
Elin Gave People a Freebie Interview
People magazine paid Brad and Angelina $12 million for the exclusive photos and story of the twins, which they subsequently donated to charity.
However, Elin’s team approached People magazine on Elin’s behalf, and Elin granted her interview for FREE.

People was so confident that the issue with Elin’s Nordegren’s first and only interview would be a sellout, that they raised their cover price to $4.49, and printed more than the usual number of magazines.

I read that the money that Elin was to receive from People’s interview was donated directly to several children's organizations!!!!Elin is a class act through and through. Elin seems to have found her life purpose after having gone through fire and she will have a happy and fulfilling future helping children in need!!! God bless Elin and her children!!!!
