Elin Nordegren coaches soccer. Kids’ soccer. The European-born blonde beauty probably played more “football” as a girl than the average American, since the game is bigger over there. Her talents are coming out in time to help her five-year-old daughter along, reports Us magazine on Thursday, March 21.
Elin, 33, was dressed for the job. She sported a blue baseball cap, long silky hair, a blue and white COACH shirt, with sweatpants and sneakers. Whether she is a permanent coach of a permanent youth team, or just helping out a bunch of recruits, is not quite clear. Elin’s daughter is pretty young, but teams start early these days.
And Tiger is certainly a fan of starting sports early, since according to reports he began golf somewhat younger than the ages his kids are now. Legend has it he got a par at the age of three, but legends cannot be trusted.
Beside Elin was her twin sister, a London lawyer, who looks – well, like a twin. They had three kids on the bench between them – Elin’s two and Josefin’s little boy, holding a water bottle. Elin Nordegren’s new love, neighbor Chris Cline, was not there.
Reports say Tiger Woods was there at the game, while his date, Lindsay Vonn, stayed in the car. Perhaps the soccer field was hard to maneuver on crutches.
Sporting events are ongoing problems for split families. Traditionally, one parent takes one end of the bleachers and the other gets the other.
