Atlanta fashionistas, there’s a good reason why the Elie Saab Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2012 show for Paris Fashion Week at the Espace Ephemere Tuileries on October 5, 2011 drew not one, but two princesses from around the world.
It wasn’t about performance art or theatrics – nor avant-garde shockers or outlandish makeup and hairstyles on the models. Elie Saab got by on raw talent alone as each piece he rolled out stood on its own merit!
Presenting some pretty awesome gowns in long, elegant lines, mostly in shades of saffron from bright yellow to deep orange, the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 collection promises sophisticated and ultra-feminine haute couture to carry you through any high-profile or gala event with distinction.
Elie Saab’s complete color palate for Spring/Summer 2012 also includes several gowns in shades of blue from cobalt to midnight blue, as well as peach, cream, white and green. The colors were all vibrant and the fabrics high-end.
Their shoes and handbags were also equally impressive to include a multitude of colors including, yellow, cobalt blue, white, tan and green.
Attending the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show were Princess Beatrice of Britain, who wore a lovely knee-length red dress with three-quarter sleeves, which she accessorized with black pumps and metallic bag, and Princess Siriwanwaree Nareerat of Thailand in a very unusual turquoise dress with cape motif, accessorized with beige shoes.
Also attending were Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan in a gorgeous khaki/beige dress with matching sandals and shoulder bag, as well as Spanish actress and model Ines Sastre, who wore a dark blue sleeveless dress with a tiered skirt, accessorized by beige sandals.
