It's also expected to be a huge year for Eli Manning and the Giants.
Eli Manning was (8-17) passing on Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts. While Manning had some good moments, he wasn’t able to produce any touchdowns for the New York Giants. However, Eli did throw one of his signature interceptions in the first quarter of the game. For the short time that he played, New York was hoping that he would cut down on the mistakes.
All hope is not lost for the 2-time Super Bowl champion though. While it’s true they did not score any touchdowns, the Giants did show the ability to drive the ball down field. The only problem is that they had to settle for field goals. Still, he threw for 91 yards on the day.
Eli’s counterpart showed some more flashes of greatness against the Giants. Andrew Luck displayed superb escape ability in the first half. He even showed the world how to get hit, under throw a ball into Aaron Ross’ hands and complete it to Reggie Wayne for an unbelievable touchdown.
Besides that amazing play, Luck finished 9-13 for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 14 yards on one scramble.
