The celebrity pregnancies keep on coming. According to a People report dated Wednesday, March 20, congratulations are now in order for Eli Manning and his wife Abby.
This will be child number two for the New York Giants quarterback. The couple already has a daughter named Ava Frances who turns 2 today.
“The greatest thing about being a dad is that you never realize you can love something immediately in your life,” Manning, 32 shared with People last June.
“The First time that you see your daughter…every day, just wanting to be around her and telling her that you love her,” continued the football star.
Manning and McGrew married in a private ceremony held in San Jose’ del Cabo, Mexico on April 19, 2008. The couple has been together since their college days at Ole Miss. During the football season, the family resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.
In addition to his football skills, Manning is known for his avid involvement with charities and good causes. The soon-to-be father of two has made various efforts to raise funds for children and families. He volunteered during Hurricane Katrina, and worked with a 5-year campaign in 2007 to raise $2.5 million for the construction of “The Eli Manning Children’s Clinic” to be in the children’s hospital. Not surprisingly, Manning definitely has earned the title of a “family man.”
