This year has elevated a whole new level of ways to say I do, with some extreme cameras that have been added to the mix, plus a proliferation of the website YouTube, we have a whole new breed of directors. Since many of the camera companies have blurred the line between video camera and still camera, we are looking at some very high quality products that have captured some very serious and tender moments in time for couples.
Take the marriage proposal by Hector "Tank" Martinez to Paige Hernandez, which must have taken a lot of planning because for this, one of the busiest fairways had to be shut down so the question could be asked. All the while the cameras are rolling from every possible direction just like one produced by a large production company. A group as large as 400 bikers stopped the 10 Freeway traffic during Unity Ride 2013 and Tank stepped off his bike got down on one knee and proposed in the middle of the freeway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYRnDPBn5C4#t=70 .
Another great proposal was videoed by Bob Nicolas for Ross Garcia who wanted to marry Jella Mercado after two years of dating. This proposal happened at Binondo food tour in Manila, by far this is one of the most moving captures of the special moment when the question is asked. A big plus is that the Old Manila Walks tour was offering a big discount of 50% off of the couple’s ticket making this a great place to plan this wonderful scheme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIZH2VyyNGU
I guess that over a period of time we have watched so many well produced stories by way of video and film that now we have become our own production company that could one day get us an Academy Award or even better yet a well captured moment that will live with us for the rest of our lives.
