Here’s a way for ski bunnies to raise their skills to new levels. On January 13 to January 17, 2014 Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is hosting the Elevate Women’s Ski Camp along with a trio of top female skiers.
Leading the pack will be Crystal Wright, a Jackson Hole native and 2012 Freeski World Tour Champion, Jess McMillan, a Freeskiing World Tour and U.S. Freeskiing National Champion and star of Warren Miller’s iconic ski films, and Kim Havell, who has skied all seven continents and in more than 50 countries.
“The Elevate Women’s Camp is truly a first class experience from every aspect. Women participating will enjoy the best instruction, finest slope-side lodging, great dining and luxurious spa options. The camp’s camaraderie and small group dynamics will take women’s skiing to the next level while having fun on some of the best terrain in the country,“ stated Anna Cole, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s communications manager.
The announcement, sent via email, explained that the camp it fit for ever levels and includes six nights at the Four Diamond AAA Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. During the week, participants will receive ‘tech tips’, tactics and strategies for tackling any kind of condition or terrain as well as equipment discussions and a personal video to be used as a valuable post-instructional tool.
The package also includes lift tickets, early access to the Aerial Tram, breakfasts, lunches, après ski bites and dinner at the new Spur Restaurant & Bar, a Pilates class instructed by McMillan and a stretching session by Wright. The fee for the whole week is $3,285 and can be reserved here.
