Elevage Wine Group presents post-Valentine’s Day “Lover’s Quarrel” dinner (Photos)

Looking to follow up on your Valentine’s Day with another romantic experience? Or perhaps your date didn’t quite go according to plan, and you’re looking for a way to redeem the holiday that should have been? In either case, Elevage Wine Group, known for fine wine tasting and elegant dining experiences, is putting on a ‘lover’s quarrel’ dinner that will ensure a night to remember. Set your date for Wednesday, February 20 for an eclectic wine pairing that will match you against your date in a blind wine tasting battle.

The lover’s quarrel dinner will take place at Yonaka Modern Japanese Restaurant, centrally located in Chinatown just minutes from the Strip. Guests will indulge in a five-course meal that showcases Yonaka Chef Remir's exotic global delicacies. The experience will feature six wines, delivered by Elevage sommelier Mario Luna. Beyond fine food and drink, however comes the pinnacle of the Elevage experience: wine education. Guests will learn the distinguishing qualities of each glass, “elevating” their wine knowledge to an impressive level.

The challenge comes after dinner, where guests will sit in front of the same six wines served over dinner. Significant others will face off against one another, using lessons learned in blind tasting to correctly identify each glass. The winner will claim bragging rights over their better half, but the real victory comes with lifelong knowledge that will change the way you see wine from here on out. Professional wine training and an extravagant night out comes at a steal of a price here. Space is very limited, so book your spot soon.

Elevage’s Lover’s Quarrel dinner will be held Wednesday, February 20 from 7-9 p.m. at Yonaka Modern Japanese, 4983 W. Flamingo Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89109. Tickets are $160/couple, which includes 5-course, 6-wine dinner. Reservations can be made at Yonaka by calling (702) 685-8358 or visiting the restaurant online.
