Sherlock needs a case because apparently all the ones the precinct have aren’t worthy of his brilliant mind. This is a fun episode that features Sherlock going around on his own trying to find something to do. Basically, he is bored. The writers throw in a bunch of fun ways that Sherlock attempts to find cases, and then when he finds one, he comes to the strange problem of requiring a body. It is nice to see that the police can’t help Sherlock in everything that he does. There are some rules and procedures that they have to follow. Did you enjoy Sherlock on the hunt for a case?
Once Sherlock finds a case, it turns out to be rather complicated. A former hit man is involved with a loan shark and on the run from the Russian mob. Seriously, the bad news just keeps coming. It’s intriguing that for most of the case, Sherlock is going around trying to find the victim. He isn’t searching for the killer. It isn’t until a bit into the episode that he realizes that Leo, the hit man, was also murdered, prompting Sherlock to begin looking for a killer. It became obvious that the wife was involved in his death, so that much wasn’t a surprise. Did you enjoy the case?
Joan gets a case from one of her friends. Jen wants her to track down a guy she slept with a year ago. Question: why did it take her a year to ask about this? Who wouldn’t just give up by then? Anyways, Joan is determined to find this man. It seems strange that it has taken this long for her friends to cash in on Joan’s detective skills. It is great to see her off on her own. The twist that Jen actually slept with Sherlock is….interesting. Sherlock’s reasons for doing it make sense. He wanted to know more about Joan, so he goes to her friends for information. That being said, it is still weird. What do you make of Sherlock and Jen?
